It is now about 10:30 AM, Friday, July 3. The good doctor checked in this morning about 9:00, and said she was dilated to a 3. He expects to be back at about 12 noon, whereupon he expects to see her dilated to a 6 or 7, though Joan thinks that she will be at about 8.
Her contractions are increasing in intensity and regularity, but as of now she can still talk through the pain, so apparently they aren't as bad as they will be! WOOHOO!!!! I'm gonna be a daddy in a few short hours!
