Keltan allergy update

We had bloodwork done on keltan to determine his allergy issue, and have been good he is basically highly allergic to fire ants.  I'm just glad it wasn't something that is abundant in Texas and easily controlled.  (insert rolling laughter here).  We are setting up a time to go in and talk about options.  Personally, I understand Minnesota is fire ant free...

update on allergies

Keltan went to visit the allergist Tuesday morning.  We were hoping to have an allergy test done, but Inga had given him an antihistamine the night before, and he has to be free of those for a week before the tests.  So, he goes 2 weeks from then to have his test done.
Meanwhile, the doctor ( a very good man - he went to Oklahoma State University - GO POKES!) prescribed us an Epipen for any future reactions.  He did say that we need to stay on top of it, as it could become fatal.  Yeah, I love hearing that.  Ant bites in Texas are so rare, and all...
Anyway, he is doing ok right now, and Daddy is fighting fire ants like CRAZY!  DEATH TO ALL FIRE ANTS!
